I saw The Maid/ La Nana last night and thought it was interesting. I would suggest it. It was an interesting take on the life of nanny/maid.

Has anyone watched the movie Bananas! I want to watch this documentary soon.

Memories of my melancholy whores.... I read the summer online and thought it was the equivalent of getting salt thrown on an open wound re my person views regarding love and affection being bought and sold I had express around the same time this movie title showed up on this thread. I have watched 1/2 of the movie so far and am pleasantly surprised. It is kind of interesting viewing life from this perspective.

Interesting documentary. It sort of makes you want to cringe as it really shreds light on how hard it is to get justice when you have been wronged by someone or an organization with a huge amount of resources.

I recently watched this movie called THE CHOSEN ONES that UrbanLuis mentioned on another in another part of the forum. It was a good watch. Very thought provoking and sad. As a women who remembers being a teenage girl all too well I could totally see how easily a young girl could fall in to this trap. I think too many parents are too shy to talk to their teens/kids about stuff like this. We don't want to taint them, but we need to teach them to protect themselves because we can't protect them every second and can only empower them with knowledge.

The second half of the movie is more action-packed. The good doctor ends up shooting the gang leader in Medellin after his girlfriend is shot by said gang leader.

Bad Education/ LA MALA EDUCACACION

Interesting movie... but most importantly this movie to me 100% conveys why Gael García Bernal is a phenomenal
actor. He is totally in my top 10 list of favorite actors/actresses.

Amazing acting on his apart in this movie.
