It is not in the cinemas yet. I guess it starts on April 14 this year, but it is going to be good
Looks good. I won't be able to see it for like a year or more due to my location. Oh well ... Better late then never

As a matter of fact and talking about your comment on the Canadian girls in a Panamanian jail, the protagonist of this movie was in that jail too. She became known by a video she did while in jail and the society has given her a second chance. She was there for selling drugs. Here is the video.

What comedies? Those were real life situations.

I forgot this movie..... Real Women Have Curves (2002)

This movie serves as a reminder that even though your parents love you ... sometimes they really have no idea what the heck they are talking about !

I don't consider Pixote a must see at all.

Funny because Elite Squad II is not on the list, and it's the most popular brazilian movie.

Central Station is the best brazilian on the list.

So, have you watched some of those comedies?

I think the article is a little old. I don't think I have seen much on that list myself. I do not watch too many comedies. Not for any specific reasons, but I just don't happen to come across many that catch my attention. Also only things that are really really popular get to where I am at or come across my attention because they are not in theatres here or at least not advertised well if they are. There is a Brazilian film festival here once a year, but I have never gotten a chance to go to it. Maybe next year ! So I really do appreciate people posting about different/new movies as otherwise they would not likely ever know about them.

I was referring to the ones I mentioned on pages 1/2. I wonder if you liked them.
