Unfortunately, your deduction, if not entirely, is mostly correct.

People in general are just overly sensitive. They KNOW what's wrong with Anchorage and the native homeless population, but it hurts their feelings to point it out and they want to virtue signal and pretend that it's not a problem.

People need to toughen up, stop being sensitive, and confront problems instead of just letting them linger. Anchorage has some great potential, but it will never be realized by screaming "racism!" anytime someone points out a problem involving the native population.

What's racist is going on and on and on and on and on about Natives when there are plenty of other homeless people as well. If every Native person in Anchorage magically got a home tomorrow, there'd still be a serious homelessness problem in Anchorage. Native people make up almost a quarter of the state's population and about half Anchorage's homeless population, so they are overrepresented, yes, but not to the extent certain racist individuals make out. A person who isn't an ignorant prejudiced egotistical boor might ask why that is, and what can be done, rather than just whining about how homeless Natives are mildly inconveniencing him or her. There are a number of historical, demographic, economic, and sociological reasons (for both Alaska's homelessness problem in general and the disproportionate portion of Natives in particular), some of which are more readily addressed (by the homeless individual, community, and/or government) than others. If this were a discussion in good faith with a person who actually cared and had an open mind, there are lots of folks on this board who could elaborate, but it's obviously not, which is why people are just poking fun at bad math and inane swagger. There is not much point in composing thoughtful informative responses to a person whose idea of cleverness is to brag about how he has a gun and is, like, so totally ready to shoot people.

You just admitted that natives over represent the homeless population by 200% of their actual share of the percentage of the population. How else does that "make out"? How do you explain that without being "racist"?

And well off financially. Don't forget that one.
