I think it takes a special taste for someone to eat sushi. I haven't developed the taste for it. But, it could be that I had a bad experience with sushi in the past.

Chiang Mai on Old Seward is decent - not great, but it doesn't suck either. Because of the location I sometimes go there for lunch during the week.

Lahn Pad Thai on Abbot is our favorite.

Well I went to Pataya Friday night & while the sushi was good the service was horrible. I went to Kamaguoro in Anchorage Saturday night. The sushi was excellent but again the service was terrible.

I don't know about raw fish but whatever you do avoid the Smoke Shack in Seward. At least don't eat their smoked food. We had lunch there on Saturday and I am still bealching it up.. Nasty..
