Quick; the bugs, in particular scorpions (I think I saw one once), the coyotes - now those I have heard, although not seen, the HEAT...that should scare them off!

We've got to stop the migration before it starts. After all, Arizona IS a terrible place to live.
ha ha when i lived there (Waddell) i never saw a rattle snake, heard it. few days later found my cat dead with a bite mark in its neck, that's where that darn cat went. never saw a scorpion, did see a tarantula once in a hotel room in sedona, husband was almost attacked by javelina's in the white tank mountains once, good thing he had is gun, heard the coyotes never saw them. Loved the heat, that is what i miss the most,at least you can get some sort of relief from it, with this damn cold here in jersey im always bundled up no matter what the heat is on..

Scorpions, heat, no rain, all of the above. Oh, and don't forget the traffic and the terrible drivers!

That should keep em out.

Agree on the school system, gun laws, discrimination. However, the desert is beautiful, the weather is great, and the food delicious. We moved in 2009, and have a little over 100k in equity.

Thankfully, because of that, the plan was thwarted. How arrogant and terrible for Arizonans to think they could have Ocean Front Property?
Teddy, I had to go searching for this as it makes me chuckle so thought I'd re-do it. If you can't see it, the original post is page 49.

Thanks for sharing! A great reminder of why it's so terrible here.

Arizona is a great place to explore. Why live there? Are you a transplant that went, got burdened by your own bills and couldn't get out and enjoy much of the state, and then hated it????
