Attached is one of my favorite photos except the flora and fauna. Driving east on the road from Arivaca to I-19, at night, you start down the hill into Arivaca Junction and when your headlights hit the big, white, "Longhorn" it is downright spooky
when you see it the first time. Is it still there?
It's still there and so is the Cow Palace.

Same here, every photo is wonderful. My family were going to visit the Grand Canyon (and Hoover Dam) a few summers back but wildfires cut the trip back to El Paso. (in the same state, despite the long road trip.

Arizona is my second favorite place in the world, especially the Sonora Desert. I traveled U.S. 66 in 1945 before it became "Route 66" as we know it now. Couldn't afford motels so camped on side of the road at night.
