Just a little FYI for everyone - when we speak of "Illegals", please, keep in mind that individuals from OVER 20 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES have been caught entering the US illegally.

The point being - that the term "Illegal" DOES NOT merely point to those from Mexico.

Just wanted to "clear the air"

I think that there are illegals from OVER 60 DIFFERENT countries if you really want to be honest about it. One one travel forum, we had close to 20 people from at least a dozen nations, MOSTLY Western Europeans, who were working "under the table" , generally along the east coast.

The resentment toward Mexico arises because the Mexican government ACTIVELY ENCOURAGES its citizens to enter the US illegally as it generates needed cash and reduces the unemployment rate in Mexico. This reduces the chances of the populus revolting against the widespread corruption in Mexico.

Mexico protests when the US expels and repatriates Mexican Nationals. However - and I must note that I have experienced this personally, if you overstay your business visa, they will come after you quickly and aggressively. That is why it is critical that your first business relationship in Mexico should be a rell-connected attorney.

Living in Arizona, when you hear the term illegal, you automatically assume Mexican, it's just a given.

I doubt we have as many problems with people from countries like Japan, China, France, etc immigrating here illegally as we do with the hundreds of mexicans coming over the border each month.

Actually; quite a few of the illegal aliens here are/were Guatemalan---------who oftentimes pass themselves off as 'Mexican' so when caught/deported, they are simply dropped off across the border vs. being shipped all the way back home.

Sorry Josh - you really need to do some studying.

That said - there are those who cross illegally that come from European nations, Asian Nations, Middle Eastern nations -

I suppose these are "all the same" also.
