*Great transport infrastructure.* Non-existent water infrastructure for over 50% of the city's population. That's why your city is sinking. Remember that basic infrastructure matters too. Not just skyscrapers and highways
Jakarta is not only Great in transportation, but in all aspects Jakarta still outperforms Manila
I wonder how the protests will affect Bangkok's standing and how it will impact the large infrastructure projects it's embarked upon. Has anyone seen any bits of news about whether construction on these have remained steady or are there recent postponements, delays, and cancellations?
I dont think it will, since nearly all those projects are being constructed and all budgets has passed in the senate.. Covid19 slower the project slightly but I think protester just do their thing and construction companies also do their things! I just read that Orange and purple subway extension line is in the process of finding who to run it. HSR also building phase 4 of the project... Unless, the changing of government happens at this very moment, planned project will be postponed to next government assembly, since nearly all of the project has been passed, budgeted and signed, it just awaits constructing... The project can get cancelled or postponed if it in the planning phase, once it has passed budget and construction companies are signed to build, it will not get cancelled, otherwise the government will be paying **** load of money back to construction company, like the Hopewell project in 1997. I am sure they wont do the same mistake again. Beside, It’s good that protesters chose to protest now instead of when country is full with tourists Since Thailand is doing pretty good in containing Covid, the economy has been opened up and they are now allowing long term tourist to enter the country under certain condition!
looks like typhon will wipe out those DOLOMITE ARTIFICIAL BEACH!
That's what I'm hoping for, along with all other anti-Duterte Filipinos. Unfortunately, I don't think the storm was strong enough by the time it got close to Manila. After making landfall, it downgraded quickly. Now it's just a tropical storm as it passes through Southern Luzon and is about to exit the Philippines.

yeah, if you go to Jakarta at this time maybe you will change the list above
Jakarta is now very advanced in all aspects, if Jakarta in 2010 may be far more behind than the 2 cities above but today especially Jakarta is getting cleaner, with a large pedestrian area and supporting transportation.
Jakarta will soon have an HSR with the CR400AF type, including one of the fastest trains Jakarta - Bandung route completed by the end of 2022
Bangkok is still have MRT, LRT, BTS
Manila will have a Subway but until now there has been no underground digging even in the USA already subway was built decades ago but Manila is very booming with this transportation

Absolutely none of this matters if Jakarta only has 60% residents with piped water. It's the capital city of an upper-middle income country. There's no excuse for that. The ground will continue sinking and nothing you build on top of that sinking ground will even matter.
To compare and find out which of the 3 cities is the best, you have to visit each one by yourself. Feel and see with your own eyes. After that you can give an assessment of which city is the best. konveksi tas and
