Exactly. Do people even know they reside in an echo chamber that reaffirms 100% of what they say. It is a wonderful fairy tale existence.

BTW, I have noted that many atheists do not get figures of speech, irony, or sarcasm.

Amen.

It may have been Weber & Fields who had a routine where an old Jewish man walks into a doctor's office and says, "Doctor! It hoits (hurts) when I do dis", and he raises his arm. And the doctor responds, "Den don't do dat".

Day after day we find christians and other religionists on here who whine about how they and their religion are maligned, and day after day they continue to do the things that cause them to be maligned. Even when we explain to them what we don't want them to do to us, they -- out of spite -- continue to do it...and then whine when they are again maligned.

When a person is having a bad time in life, I sometimes say to them that they will be in my meditations. If one of said, "I don't want to be in your Buddhist meditations", then I would immediately RESPECT THEIR WISHES and back off from that.

I know why religionists and particularly christians always preach to Buddhists that the Buddhist should "practice kindness" since that's what Buddhism is supposedly all about. First of all, that's not what Buddhism is all about. But the real reason they want us to be nice is because they know that the majority always wins when the minority plays nice. Be a passive Buddhist and we can steamroll right over you. Michelle Obama said that when they go low we go high; and look where that got us. Gandhi was passive; where did that get him? With 3 bullets in the chest and abdomen. It wasn't passivity that ended slavery or Jim Crow.
I have often felt much you describe is a result of people dealing with hemorrhoids. Some people seem to have severe cases that they reflect in their comments more than others. What makes for that "bad time in life" you reference.

We are repeatedly accused of being sarcastic.

Yes you sure deked me on that one.

By the way maybe if you had posted does a Fisk know he is in water. But I still do not understand

Does a fish now he is in water means. It's still a meaningless phrase or written incorrectly

Your trube is the leye insult atheists for our own personal pleasure. . Much of what you post about atheists 8s simply has no meat to it but simply a way you guys get to feel superior about yourselves by attacking us individually Eben when it requires lying about we have posted.

It's hard to get sarcasm in the written form when a key word is mispelt giving the phrase no meaning.

Or is the fish now in water because it used to be out of water? But a fish out of water means something totally different to be than a does a Fisk Know he is in water.

Sorry I did not catch your meaning as I don't see the context and it said something other than what you meant.

Lol. We should have a thread “Guess the poster’s gender.” I am yet to be surprised by what gender any poster is. Maybe one or two but mostly you can tell.
