Some of the comments on that site are ridiculous. One dummy even posted: "The Beltline is stupid because it doesn't connect to MARTA". I suppose they gathered that since the pretty lines on the not drawn to scale or detailed map didn't show where the Beltline connects to MARTA or the concept of having the route stop right next to/underneath the MARTA station instead of shutting the whole thing down to build a ramp and new track so that some Internet dumb dumb could like the Beltline more. UGH! /end rant

On the bright side: a decades worth of hard work by private citizens, advocates, government officials and the desires of the whole city is about to come to fruition. Good times.

This map is so great. I wasn't familiar with those busway proposals -- they look very cool. I do wish there was a Cobb Galleria connection somewhere, though.

Someone pinch me. I'm dreaming!

I really want that map to happen, and then some. I hope that I can take the MARTA(Or ATA, or GRTA or whatever)train to Gwinnett & Cobb county someday before I grow old & die.

If that's what a regional transportation tax produces, then count me as the first in line to vote NO.

That is a typical retread of the worn out radial MARTA system, with a token station in Gwinnett and nothing at all even proposed for Cobb. This map is exactly the wrong proposal for a metro plan. If this is just for urban residents of Atlanta and Dekalb, then have fun paying your penny and enjoy.

Each County and transit agency had to submit their "wish list" last Wednesday to the State for inclusion in the total plan. This is only MARTA's wish list, not the entire package by any means.

Cobb's list included a rail connection from Arts Center to the Cumberland/Galleria area and beyond.

Got it. That makes more sense. The expansion to Gwinnett is what threw me.
