Yeah, and I hope they get stuck in traffic on the way!

"No Tax for Tracks!" What-the-freak-ever . . .

This tax is barely about public transit in the first place, as it's loaded with road/highway projects. I'm so tired of the Tea Party demagoguing pretty much every darn issue.

And I don't even understand their ideological stance. I thought they were against government imposition of unnecessary taxes. This is a freaking public vote! You can't get any more "by the people" than a referendum.

So annoying!

They have no idea, what they're doing anymore. They're just protesting to protest now.

The tea party just keeps getting dumber. Agree with K-SawDude, the spending on rail is rather light in this.

These people don't understand the word "compromise"... it's their way or the highway. They are simply just obstructionists.

Wow, that sounds familiar. Now, where have we watched that scene played, and replayed over the last month?

Not a tea partier myself, but my gosh, the irony in that post is thick.

Oh, believe me I feel the same way about Occupy (the lazy commie scum). It doesn't change the fact that they're protesting just to protest. If your gonna protest, do it about something that is worthwhile. The transportation tax will help with the ease of traffic, maybe not fix it but it'll help, and the occupiers just want to take money someone else worked for, I equate them to thieves and lazy individuals who didn't want to put in the time and effort to acheive whet they are requesting.

I'm always glad to see people getting off their behinds to express their views. Whether I agree with them or not.
