Does anyone know of any Stone Mountain Park discounts? Four grandkids will be here this summer and I'd love to take them but it is pricey. Other good values for kids? Thanks!!!

About 4-5 years back, we entered after a certain time in the afternoon (3pm or 4pm...), and they charged us a significantly lower amount. Not sure if they still do this, but I remember it was a significant difference.

edit: Will the grand kids be here for a while? A season pass to a specific place usually work well. Fernbank Museum, zoo, Six Flags, Whitewater, Stone Mountain, aquarium.

Dave & Busters. Go Kart places (there is one in Norcross. In Roswell - Andretti). Ice skating (I think it is called Ice Forum).

Water fountains at Centennial Park.

Movies on the Green at various downtowns.

Stone Mountain is $10 per car. Pile into an SUV or van if you've got one, hike up the mountain around 6 pm when it's not blazin' hot, bring a cooler with a picnic dinner and some blankets, and go hang out on the lawn until the laser show starts around 9:30. Maybe buy some funnel cakes or something. Seems like a cheap day for 6 to me?
