Metro Atlanta is a pretty darn diverse place. You really don't have to worry about cross burning and bigoted behavior for the most part.

We are moving to Georgia for and need to live near Duluth, Ga. wondering about schools and nice areas for families with school age kids. Grade school, high school, Churches, fun stuff, housing- rental or purchase?? This thread is pretty old and 'm wondering how the area has changed,

Look for homes and neighborhoods in the following high school clusters:




In Gwinnett County
Duluth High
Peachtree Ridge High
Collins Hill High
North Gwinnett High
Lanier High
Mountain View High




In North Fulton County
Northview High
Johns Creek High




In Forsyth County
Lambert High






The feeder elementary and middle schools in each cluster are also excellent.
