Well the trick is to build the trail north through Sandy Springs to the river. At which case it is argued a bridge is too expensive....

Then sweep everything under the rug.

Then those who can swim can still make it. So now even if a thug can swim, which they likely can't, they won't be able to swim back with your TV.

But perhaps that would be a good location to open up a pawn shop... I just don't know....

Really Good News Abounds for Buckhead's PATH400 - Happy Trails - Curbed Atlanta

Quote:
Denise Starling, Livable Buckhead Executive Director, announced Friday that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved plans for the full 5.2-mile multi-purpose trail along Ga. Highway 400. Translation: The final hurdle has been cleared, pending more money! GDOT, which owns much of the right-of-way where PATH400 will be built, had previously approved plans for only a half-mile portion between Lenox and Old Ivy roads, which is already under construction. "We now have a green light to start building phase two of the trail," Starling said, "and we can proceed with our fundraising efforts for the remaining portions as well."

Starling said about 40 percent of the entire project has already been funded, "thanks in large part to $5 million provided by the PATH Foundation and the Buckhead Community Improvement District." The PATH Foundation and Livable Buckhead are hoping to start work on the project's Phase II within a month.

Quote:
Starting this week, teams will be clearing and grading the Phase 2 area to prep the site for construction, which should start in earnest by mid-November. The whole segment, including the sandblasted "Buckhead" wall, is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Lenox Road has already been resurfaced and final striping will happen shortly.

Nice. Some might say "those boys up in Perimeter don't mess around".

Got to admit i was thinking the same thing. Its kinda scary to ride along traffic going that fast but maybe it will not look as it does in the picturs when its finished.

I haven't figured out why the air quality is so bad here. Atlanta is near the top of all the lists excluding California cities. Its not like there is a lot of heavy industry. There's lots of trees. Maybe it has something to do with the hills trapping the particles.
I have not seen any list with Atlanta near the top.It used to be in the 90's.

Surely you have at least a few feet between yourself and the traffic. Anything less than that, especially for children, would be way too dangerous.
