Willy's corporate address is in Underwood Hills, while Moe's corporate address is up in Sandy Springs. While both started in Atlanta, Moe's is all over the entire eastern half of the country, while Willy's is currently only in Atlanta Metro and Athens. I highly doubt they are the same corporation.
I think I should try the Adobe from Willy's because I do like spicy food. I'm somewhat fond of grilled foods so maybe that's why I prefer Moe's. I don't dislike Willy's so it seems to put in the minority that I'm OK with both. The sometimes lack of salsa verde at Willy's is kind of a deal breaker though. One should not substitute jalapenos for tomatillos; it's just not right.

Virtually everywhere in the country one can get chipotle. hThey're hugely successful and are growing at break neck speed.

EVERYONE loves chipotle. I mean EVERYONE. It's been watered down enough that the masses can enjoy. while not authentic Mexican...it's fresh, it's fast, it's affordable and it's good. Hispanic or not.
The 3 that are near me are filled with mostly white ppl. Not that that matters, but someone mentioned they seem to be popular with the "hispanic crowd" lol. ohhhhhkay

Chipotle has been in Atlanta for years. If you Google chipotle it will being up over a dozen locations. There were just never any on the southside. So they aren't just catching up to anything

Count me as someone who prefers Chipotle over Moe's. Specifically, the "salsa" at Moe's may as well be mild ro-tel straight from a can.

Used to LOVE Qdoba, up until they refused to honor a punchcard I had filled up and wanted to use.

The Adobe chicken is definitely my favorite. It's not really "spicy" as in mouth-burning or anything, but it's got a little "spicy flavor". Pretty sure most of their meats are also grilled.

I seem to think they have salsa verde, too. If you go to their food page, and click "salsa bar" on the right, they have a tomatillo salsa pictured there.

Mmmm...I'm just thinking of a Chicken Fajita Ranchero burrito right now. But the closest one to where I'm sitting is 40 miles away (not including the airport locations).

I love them all. But Willys takes the cake when it comes to salsa. Dat habenero salsa...... I always get too much of it so I have some to sip on. Yes.

They grill the tomatoes in the morning to make the salsa you eat that day. Can Chipotle or Moe's say that?

I don't understand why Moe's is so popular. Their food is like an Englishman's take on Southwestern food....that's how bland their food is. They must be doing something right though.

I don't. Generally pretty bland, don't like the rice, and hate having to pay extra for old chips and a tiny salsa.

That's the one thing I really dislike about Chipotle. Why charge extra for GUAC!? Other than that, while their flavors leave much to be desired, if I need a quick fast food-based "meal" without the feeling of wanting to kill myself after, I go there.
