We can handle the "reaming" if it includes the amenity upgrades, boost to the local economy and property appreciation the Braves are bringing.

Is this before or after the $400 million bribe your county commissioners gave the Braves (without voter consent)?

Take that $1B MGM Casino too. That'll help make y'all feel like a 'big' city.

Governments provide incentives for economic improvement all the time, I'm all for it.

Going to a game at the Ted was never a great experience (other than the game itself), hopefully that will change at Suntrust

Lots of ITP aholes Acting butthurt makes for a good chuckle too.

I just hope the traffic isn't apocalyptic

And the current arena can share existing parking facilities.

There is nothing wrong with Philips Arena. It is conveniently located to all the tourist attractions in downtown, direct connection to MARTA, thousands of hotel rooms within walking distance, thousands of parking spots in underground garages, and is only 16 years old. The Hawks target demographics are Yuccies and they prefer to live in urban areas.
I think the federal government should control it by passing a law making public funding taxable to the team if it involves a facility under 30 years old.

I don't really like it for older facilities, but what's going on in Atlanta is ridiculous. The Braves and Falcons have good facilities that don't have any need to be replaced yet.
