No, because I have a pulse.

In other words, you have no idea what you're talking about like the others and just posting to be posting. We get it, you're salty that the Braves left the city for the burbs but some of the things posted in here are just pure stupidity.

You think that is the only development going on near Summerhill? Nope. Memorial drive is exploding. Downtown. Glenwood Park. Etc.

Development around Turner is already on par with Cumberland. Just wait until redevelopment actually starts on Turner and development spreads to areas south and west of the stadium.

If we are talking about development in the last 20 years, then yeah, Cumberland has been blowing Turner area out of the water. But we are talking about the next 20 years.

And of course Suntrust will do better than Turner's attendance this year, but it is mathematically impossible for them to top Turner. For multiple years the average attendance at Turner has topped the maximum possible attendance at Suntrust.

Let him/her be. When he/she gets a whiff of that traffic coming and going and all of those vendors hanging out on the streets before and after the game in beloved Cobb, he/she will be singing another tune. Let them have it. At least the Falcons are still around. Maybe we can get the Atlanta Gladiators to move into town now that they've changed their name. I'd love to be able to catch a hockey game in the evenings.

Whoa, so that happened. I wonder what the odds are of their moving into Philips next season?

Zero. Playing at Phillips would bankrupt the Gladiators in less than one season. They are a small budget lower level minor league team.

I'm not a fan of the Braves so the move doesn't bother me that much, personally, though I understand why it does bother others. But people don't like having their neighborhoods called "sucky," just like you apparently don't like it being insinuated that your's is a car-choked snoozefest. We've heard our neighborhoods referred to as the ghetto by uppity (suburban) Braves fans for years. That's what makes some "salty."

Look at all the strip malls in the area. They are separated from the street by parking lots. Also, office parks do not create walkable areas because they mostly cater towards people in cars. I am sure most of those people you seen spending money drove from their office or homes to their destination and parked in the lots. I doubt the majority people are walking from Galleria office towers to Cumberland Mall.
