The thing is, how do we even know these people are city taxpayers?
The thing is, why does it even matter? The city really doesn't do anything for Piedmont Park anyway, so using your logic, nobody should be able to use the park unless they are Conservancy members.

And there's a big difference between some city-type noise every once in a while and somebody blasting techno bass all over the park all day Sunday and into the night.
Yes, there is a difference. And maybe you have some knowledge I don't, I'm making an assumption that the OP is being dramatic and embellishing the volume.

If you live by the park, there are going to be events like this. Just like if you live by Chastain Park, concerts happen. That's why they have to be finished at a certain time. I really doubt that a few people listening to techno music in a pavilion in Piedmont Park:

1) Went significantly late into the night
2) Was loud enough to be heard in any home with the doors and windows shut

If it was, then the police can go and ask them to turn it down a bit.

Bring it on Arjay, would that be Big Bank Hank from the Sugarhill Gang (Rapper's Delight)? Or Hank Williams? Either way bring it on.

Heh! I was thinking folks at the park might enjoy a little "Family Tradition" or "Country Boys Can Survive."

I sorta think that parks should be a tranquil, peaceful place for enjoying friends, family and nature and not a place to play loud music that others may not appreciate. But what do I know...

I can't decide which is worse...this or house music. Dubstep is obviously the worst.
