Ressler has the money, why does he have to be taking it from our pockets?

ARRRGGHHHHHH this is asinine!!! Please go away pro sports teams, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GO AWAY. You don't deserve a fn dime of our money. Any project would have been a more worthy use of this money. This is beyond frustrating.

At this point, does anyone think it is worth public funds to keep a team in the city? I am so tired of this threat, just leave already

I like how Steve Koonin got up there and said "this redesign is in keeping with the spirit of the Beltline." Funny how much Beltline you could actually build for $130 million.

So it sounds like they are precluding any form of hockey. Thanks guys, my hate for this project flows in full force

Yeah, very unimpressed with this deal. These handouts for sports teams need to stop.

Is anyone else of the opinion that the teams aught to just be publicly owned at this point, given how much public money is given to them? That, or just tell them to stuff it. Lord knows we could find something else to go in at the Philips Arena site.
