Hoping cobb county closes schools.
Since moving here, I kind of get a chuckle at how the weather casters blow everything out of proportion.
Although, i'm not chuckling as much right now.

Really glad the track of the storm shifted west. Last thing I'd want to see is the Georgia coast getting a direct hit with a 'cane two years in a row.

They are not predicting up to 8 inches and tropical storms winds. I am watching Mike Siedel in 40 mph sustained wind and looks very dramatic. Gust up to 60 mph forecasted to be over Atlanta. Be safe everyone!

I think a Tropical Storm Warning is now in effect for most of Metro Atlanta so the school closures should start to really roll in today.

I just read Tropical Storm Warnings with winds projected to be 43 mph. With the number of beautiful trees in Atlanta I hope the chainsaws and power crews are ready to go. As many people as possible need to be off the streets.
