- No signal prioritization

- The timing is ATROCIOUS. Like many buses, it comes every 30 min, if you're lucky. This is highly inconvenient. The streetcar should be passing any given stop at a maximum of 10 minutes apart.
- Right now, it goes to limited destinations. Expand it out to the Beltline and people will ride it! Krog to the Edgewood Ave bars at 10:00pm? Yes please.

I didn't actually watch the video, but anybody who says this is a failure because it's a streetcar is just wrong. It just wasn't done correctly - no surprise there. Do it right, make it convenient, and make it go to more places, and people will ride it.
In the bold, you just said it failed BECAUSE it was a streetcar. (at least the most common definition of a streetcar).

A streetcar doesn't have to run IN traffic, and signal prioritization is supposed to be part of a streetcar system.

In what right-of-way? The current alignment has barely enough right of way to operate now on the streets. Atlanta has very narrow rights of way in the Downtown and Sweet Auburn neighborhoods. Transit signal prioritization would be something GDOT would have to coordinate with the City of Atlanta on as it currently doesn't want to because they didn't support Atlanta on anything involving the Atlanta Streetcar.

Auburn and Edgewood should both be made one-lane, one-way street pairs for cars. Other lane should for LRT.

I've personally suggested this exact thing to MARTA officials and was simply told, "We'll look into it".

They can't do much without the CoA approving that layout.

They can't do anything unless they actually work on it and propose it to CoA.

I'm fairly certain there was an article stating that Marta
and/or city the would examine having dedicated ROW for the streetcar. The current route will be central to the planned expansion of the system so they have to figure this out.

Uber just announced a $5.2 BILLION Q2 loss. That is enough to fund the entire MoreMARTA Atlanta project list and add LRT on the entire BeltLine.
