Really. And nice people really makes a difference. I can't think of anyplace in the US with more rude people than LA and NYC. And I can't think of any major metro in the US where people in public are nicer than Atlanta.

The burbs are pretty much the same everywhere. The topography and vegetation may be different, but everything else is the same.
