Well on that note I drew up an idea a while back to connect it to the 13th street bridge...... I don't know how well that would roll over.

Personally, I feel that Downtown Augusta was built totally wrong in the first place....Downtown should have started around the Regency Mall and expanded North.

Why? With the expansion of the MD, possibilities of VAR, and the new construction, by way of New U, coming to downtown, I can see some type of rail to connect the projects in the future. But Augusta has some ways to go.

North Augusta technically could be add to Augusta population. Just like South, East and West Augusta. The population was 21,348 at the 2010 census.

That will be good if they can connect augusta and Greenville together
