What is the TEE Center? What Hyatt Hotel? I know when I visit family and friends in Augusta there are limited hotels and we stay mainly at the Marriott and the DoubleTree.

New baseball stadium what is wrong with the old baseball stadium?

The TEE Center stands for the Trade, Exhibit, and Event center...

The Hyatt Place complex is the 8 story hotel, 3 story office buiding, and underground parking deck..

The old baseball stadium doesn't include residential, retail, or restaurants.. Jim Jacoby and Cal Ripken prefer the Golf and Gardens site in the CBD..

The next time you're in Augusta, I recommend staying at the recently built Sheraton...

Nortonguy - Do you have a link or know what the TEE Center will be used for? Conventions, trade shows, and such? Or concerts possibly? Oh and how large is it going to be? I guess that size thing would help answer the other questions.

The TEE Center incorporated the old cotton warehouse next door into the design.. The facility connects to the existing conference center at the two Marriotts downtown..

I have no idea where the Marriotts are down town.....

Thanks!

ETA: Hey wait....They're near the Farmers Market right? Cotton warehouse made me think of the Cotton Exchange building and the house Eli Whitney was in.

ETA: Hold the phone! I've now looked at the brochure and I swear I drove by this when I was leaving the Farmers Market a few months ago. This looks very familiar!

It's not near the farmer's market, it's between 9th and 10th streets along Reynolds St and the levee/riverwalk. Just look for the building that says 'Marriott' on it.

Isn't the Farmers Market on 8th and Reynolds? That's like 2 blocks away.

Saturday Market, but you're describing the right location.. The old cotton warehouse was incorporated into the design and not the Cotton Exchange near the 8th street plaza...

Is there a different farmers market? I'm outside of Aiken and don't go to Augusta all the often. I will in 2 weeks when I start classes at Augusta Tech. Maybe I'll finally figure out how to get to the mall without a GPS!
