really!!! does that really work...it almost sounds like its logical enough to be true. Anybody else hear this?

Yep. It's fairly commonly considered to be effective.

Well, I suppose if you're too skinny, chocolate might help

Dark chocolate is good for you in much the same way that red wine is.

Just remember, moderation in everything!

Default Franko

I lived in Austin from 73 to 77 and loved it as an 18-22 year old college student. The place has a quality about it that people who lived there claim that it was at its best when they were there and has been going down ever since. I met a lady who lived ther in the 1940s and said this.

It is (now) more expensive than most of the rest of Texas (I live in San Antonio presently), but is much less expensive than many, many other places like LA or New York City.

It is a young peoples town, but what college town isn't?

It is hotter than most US cities, but it is in TX.

It is more liberal than most places in TX, but more conservative than other parts of the US (It is in TX.)

I have entertained the thought of retirement there, but it is only a 75 mile dirve away and going there is a treat.

If you don't like Austin after going to school or living there for a while consider that you may have out grown it. I think I did years ago.

Best Wishes,

Franko

I have 4 daughters, and we have to make a huge chocolate run about every 28 days

I've known about the local honey cure for years...may have to start trying it b/c I think the kids are developing mild allergies (they've been here most or all of their lives).
