Jennifer Kim's re-election ad in this week's Chronicle states that she's an advocate for small business. The small business owners that endorse her in this ad are well-known local retail businesses. I'm curious to know if Jennifer Kim has benefitted other small businesses. I'd especially like to hear from small business owners.

There doesn't seem to be any true small business lobby here in Austin - just a few of the same small businesses that always show up in conjunction with city council media - like the Keep Austin Weird campaign and campaign endorsements.
