No. It’ll be an ice age until july. May want to change your plans.

Sarcasm aside, we’ll be in 70s by Friday. Also offered you a bbq rec in the SA forum.

The tree damage is heartbreaking to say the least. Lots of massive oaks down in our neighborhood too.

...Artic Blue is the color code on the Camaro...

...GM made less than 800 of them to date...

...they make up for about 1% of produced Camaro's...

...Supposedly the color code was difficult to produce and was easily subject to imperfections...

...and now I see why this color code was hard to make and harder to maintain...

I agree.

This is AWFUL. Loss of beautiful trees. It keeps sounding like gunshots.

And then a tree, or a part of a huge tree, falls down.

Quite a bit of damage to our two front oaks and the two crepe myrtles in the back.

Power here in Brushy Creek just came back on after almost 15 hours off.
We were in bed with double layers of clothing on and six blankets on top of the sheet. It was damned uncomfortable since we always sleep in the raw.

House got down to 56 from the usual 67 at night.
Had to reset a bunch of clocks.

Power out at 4:00 am Wed morning. House was down to about 61 by 5:00 pm when we loaded up and headed to in-laws in Wimberley area. At 5:10 the power came back on and has stayed on so far (according to our neighbor).

Some notably but not severe damage to trees so far. Will have to see it tomorrow. If it would just warm up a degree or two.

Possibly some roof damage from a limb sagging on our roof .

continued no power but the heartwrencher for me is the tree loss. All night I’m listening to snapping and popping as behemoth live oaks snap like toothpicks. For those who live in leafy mature neighborhoods, this damage is irreversible. We have a tree that once towered at 40 feet and by the end of the day it’s entire canopy was sprawled over our front yard. The other is barely hanging In there. It’s just terrible and it won’t stop raining or go above freezing

sthe largest one I saw down was an oak that is around 4-5 ft in diameter. Just absolutely massive, knocked over.

We got a whole house generator connection after the last one where I had a small generator and ran extension cords. Even though we lost power at 4:30am yesterday we have had full power via the generator.

The whole house generator is pretty cool. The only thing that could be better is if the generator was natural gas. I planned to use propane, but the grill sized propane tanks only last a few hours. I switched over to gas and am using about .6 gallons/hour.

The only downside of gas is many of the gas stations near me have run out of gas.
