Our last vehicle purchase was tan, not exactly my favorite, but I got a smoking deal on it. Since there is only 2 of us, the interior stays pretty clean. It looks rich and I've been liking it more and more.

Had two cars with tan interiors. I liked them very much. People say they get dirty too fast, but I found that to be the exact opposite. Dust and sand show up a lot less on tan upholstery, plastic and carpeting. Plus it is cooler if you are in a hot climate.

Tan can cool good with certain colors. Black, white, red maybe. It's not my first choice but I had a 92 Eagle Talon white on tan leather. It wasn't bad.

Can't go wrong with black.

I prefer tan or gray interiors. I hate black! every piece of lint or dog hair stick out like a sore thumb. I also hate leather, but that's for another thread.

I like a tan interior. What are the choices? Tan, gray, or black. I currently have gray, because the exterior color choices were slim. However, gray does NOT set off the wood trim the way tan does. You could look at it that way.

I prefer a dark maroon or dark blue interior, but those have gone the way of the dinosaur.

I think some interiors look great in tan - very warm and inviting.

That said, I generally prefer black or "anthracite" or whatever that company refers to very dark grey as. My S2000 has a mostly-black interior with red seats.

I can't stand light grey interiors at all. Even in a BMW or Audi, they look very austere and low-rent to me.

Yeah that's strictly old man stuff. I test drove an 04 M3 one time that was perfect except for that ghastly dove grey interior.

My favorite has always been grey or black. But I have had several cars with some form or shade of tan. I had a ferrari and a Porsche with tan interiors. I really didn't like it that much on the Porsche-it was a " dirty tan" with blue piping which I guess went with the slate blue color. In the Ferrari it was actually pretty nice-but it was a darker more brown tan. I guess with a ferrari almost any color is acceptable though lol

I do not like tan interior at all. I won't buy any car with it, and it seems a third of the cars have them. It just doesn't appeal to my eye. I would choose red, gray, black, blue or green over tan. The outside color is less important than the interior color to me.

Only had one tan interior (Audi A6) and that car was lemon lawed so I only looked at it for about 5 months! The carpets, door sills were always scuffed/dirty. My buddy tried to convince himself he would just "keep it clean" on his new Enclave SUV.....yeah miserable fail, his quote "tan never again!"
