Although you (and I) can easily tell a base Vette from a ZR1, to most people they look just like any other Corvette. I'm a big fan of the ZR1 but I think the plastic hood window is pretty hideous.
It is quite terrible!
I'm a big fan of high performance sleepers. I don't need other people (especially the local law enforcement) knowing that I'm in a car that's capable of crazy acceleration.

A base Corvette or a ZR1 are still capable of crazy acceleration to most people, both would be an attention grabber for the police.
I'm also curious as to what this could be. Numbers look great though!
Was out of town...
It is in fact a Corvette ZO6, all aluminum LS6 383 with a D1 Procharger, 12 psi. Built 6 spd trans, 3.42 gears.. Those numbers are on pump gas on a mustang dyno. We will be converting it over to e85 as soon as some of this weather clears in Colorado.. Will make 50+ more hp and burn cleaner..

Looks great. I'd be surpised if you don't see larger gains from E85 as I've seen it work wonders on FI cars. Pump gas numbers look great though and in my opinion far more important than E85 numbers.

Here is a saying that we used in some of my engineering classes. It's not scientific and doesn't apply perfectly to everything, but it is a good way to help people understand the difference.
If you want to be thrown back in your seat when you punch it right out of the gate you need TORQUE.
If you want to be thrown back in your seat when you punch it while you are already going 100 MPH you need HORSEPOWER.

Heck yeah!

Call me weird, but I like one of these fitted with working a/c and a luxury suspension.....
But with one of these under the hood....
If you're unsure of what is is....well...let's put it this way....good mpg, light, winds up quick, and still can push the car to 10's or less in the 1/4 mile. Oh and it can haul the kids and the groceries too.
Is that sleeper enough for you?
p.s. one day I shall build such beast.
