Seats that are too soft over time while make you more fatigued during driving because any movement on the road and driving will cause your body to shift and sink in different directions.
When you have a seat that is too soft your back and spine has to support the body's weight and over time you'll develop severe backpain because all of the movement during driving puts a lot of weight and pressure on the lower back.
This is why those American soft sofa seats are terrible for long distance driving.

Odd that I rarely got "fatigued" in those "soft American" seats and often have pain after long distances in now common newer style firm seats.
