This Is A Supercut of Drivers Not Respecting Bike Lanes: DCist
I noticed that the bicycle lanes were twice as wide as the room needed but the vehicle lanes were barely wide enough for the vehicles. The bikers are given more room than the drivers. Narrow the bike lanes and the cars won't be infringing on your space.

I am a Driver as well as a Bike Rider . . . there's definitely room for improvement on both sides.

Many drivers are completely oblivious and disrespectful to the bike riders, however, many bike riders are extremely arrogant and unnecessarily "challenging" towards the drivers.

Both attitudes are uncalled for.

I head down to the D.C. area twice a year. Many of the bike riders and joggers are very aggressive when on the roads and sidewalks. That being said, I still give bike riders plenty of room.

Many drivers can't park between lines and you want them to drive between them? Get real!

I have driven there plenty, and there is more than enough room for the cars in their lanes.

Outrageous expectation . . . besides, wouldn't it interfere with their Cell Phone Chatting and Texting?

Besides, what's worst case scenario for a cager? A dent in their precious car? It's life or death on a bike.

Why do you use derogatory language for a person driving a car or pickup?

Finally someone started cyclists thread.
Around here, on narrow Seattle metro roads, they are a nightmare.
You can't pass them. As a result, they lock entire lane, esp up hill and plenty of those around.
They appear to have some sort of suicidal tendency in them, or it's just "we the kings of the road as my lawyer will sue you to the last shirt" attitude.
What seriously pisses me off, as area is overloaded with traffic as is, and now them, is that there is not a single person ever on sidewalks, yet, they idiot bravely challenge traffic on the road.
I'll tell you how it was all solved back in my country.
Yes, they were permitted on the road. Except that they had to ride on the OPPOSITE side, as they could, actually SEE oncoming cars.
You know what that does? Try. You'll be off on sidewalk in a heartbeat, as THEN big FEAR gets into you right away, when you see even smallest car coming at you.

Did you have to look it up? If you did which wiki definition did you run with.
