Probably 85mph.

135mph feels very stable but even in flat Florida the subtle roadway undulations make prolonged driving at that speed unsafe due to not knowing what is on the far side of a hump. I tried it on a Miami to West Coast I-75 run. A fellow GTO owner drove stretches of the same route at 165mph!

Which as stated by others a proper track is preferred. Unobstructed view and proper pavement preparation. All for safety.

When I lived in Germany with its no speed limit Autobahn. I could barely make 65 driving a VW Bug. I ended up selling the car after a few terrifying experiences on the Autobahn. The car could not go fast enough to keep up with traffic. I am not a fan of no speed limits highways. I hope it never happens in this country. I think even in Germany now, there are speed limits.

After about 70MPH, cars just start to swallow gas and I would personally never want to imagine swerving from another careless driver or object in the road at speeds of 80-90mph
