lol and is the cheapest option they have. How do I know this is going to last? Unfortunately, I will not go this route, it makes no sense to me to spend this kind of money on something that will not last and will slightly improve the looks of my car.

This is what the car looks like. I always made sure to wash and wax the car, but the person who owned it before me, I guess they didn't give a crap and once the clear coat is already delaminated, there is not much you can do. I live in Miami, where the sun is constant. Also, is not like is a good looking color either.

I guess I could always plasti dip the car, but even that option is not cheap, only last for a couple of years, and I would always be afraid that some asshat will peel my plasti dip off lol

Or you could just deal with it, paint has no affect on how it drives. Like you said its a POS, why put any unnecessary money into it?

A $700 paint job. Car is not washed or sanded. Masking done by a trainee. License plate not removed. One coat of old fashion enamel. When you complain about all the runs and drools and heavy orange peel, you'll hear 'that's normal'.

Maybe you might wanna inquire here for details. A neighbor down the road did his boat with this Genius Bucket. The results were way past incredible. The boat looked new and the paint was flawless.....all done in his driveway. I have no clue about it on a car but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It would require you to prep the car by sanding the cheap GM paint off first, prime and then top coat. It goes on with a short nap roller. Takes 2 guys, or at least neighbor had 2 guys. One rolled it on, the other had a paint brush evening it out. There are NO paint brush marks on his boat. Looks like a high dollar spray job, better than Amron.

If it already looks like crap what's the risk in just rattle canning it or plastidip it yourself?

I see some continental drift going on on the hood. Looks like Africa and Europe. Why would you want to paint it? It's a rolling geography lesson.
