Could a snake crawl up into the interior of my car? (vehicle, van)

I found a snake skin draped around a shovel in my garage.
Now I'm paranoid that the snake could somehow get from wherever it is in the garage up into the van interior and bite my ankles while I'm driving. Aaagh!
Is there a path that a snake could take from the underside of the van into the interior? Or are the underside and other exterior entry points sealed sufficiently that that's not possible?
(It's a Dodge Caravan, if that makes a difference.)
Easily. The heat from an engine that was just recently shut off can attract the snake in certain conditions. If there are mice and rats living within the vehicle, then the snake is going after the rodents for food.
Short answer: Yes, it's possible. There are quite a few access points in a vehicle as large as a Dodge Caravan where a snake could come in.
Slightly longer answer: Most likely, if there is a snake, if it made its way towards your car, it will probably try to find some place to nest in your engine bay. They like the residual heat from the engine block. Every time I've seen a snake slither up into a car, it was in the engine bay. I used to work in a somewhat rural location, and snakes in the parking garage were an almost daily occurrence. Sometimes, they'd find their way into the engine bays of cars, don't recall one being inside the passenger compartment.
I had a snake in my engine compartment recently. Have had them inside trucks parked and they have left snake skins. If you have any rust holes, openings to the cab along the firewall, just use spray foam to fill them. Chances are they will not get in. There is a product called "Snakeaway" and it works. Sprinkle it on the ground periodically around where you park. I use it in the barn and it really does work. Around the house, ensure openings are filled so they can't get it. Have had snakes in the house and once found a snake skin in a dresser drawer.
yes it is possible for a snake to get inside a vehicle, but there does need to be a moderately sized hole for it to enter. mice can get in using a fairly small hole. chances are though snakes will stay outside the vehicle if there is no easy path in.
It happens all the time. Especially if you have the North American Ankle biter snakes in your area.
Snakes like damp musty places, so if you spill your coffee into your carpeting - clean it up. If your car is high and dry, they will have no interest in it (unless maybe if you are raising mice in your car - it is a good idea to clean up the crumbs and other food spills as well).
Seriously, there is virtually no chance of this happening. It is about as likely as you waking up one morning and finding a canoe in your bed.
God, do I HATE snakes ! I was sitting on the couch one day and a little snake went between my feet ! I got it out, but never figured out how it got in the house or where MAMA SNAKE was ! Didn't sleep well for a long time.
