2001 Pontiac Sunfire. My wife and I bought it brand new in 2000. In 05 became my daily driver to work. Flipped 128,000 this week, the only thing to fail is the water pump 2 years ago. It knocks down mid to low 30's MPG depending on how hard I am on the gas.
Just bought an '08 Ford F-150. Have less than 1500 miles on it today but it's 86 miles round trip to work, so it'll be time for it's first oil change SOON...
87 Camry, on it's second transmission but original engine, 220K. Scirocco has over 300K showing, but engine has been "refreshed" by a previous owner about 100K ago. DW's Subaru has 240K, original engine and trans as far as I know. 71 Impala, not a daily but still runs OK, has about 220 on original engine and trans, about all I have changed in this car is the radiator and driveshaft (beyond brakes, plugs, etc. wear items)
I own three cars and don't drive every day, so I have no "daily driver" car.
However, I did from 1999 to 2004. Back then I only had one car and I drove it to work on weekdays, about 4 miles one way.
The car? A 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine.
59,474 miles when I bought it in '99 and it had about 92,000 miles when I bought other cars and it stopped being my daily driver.
I still own the limo and it still has under 100,000 miles, but just barely under.
Naturally, if I had a long commute no way would I use a limo as a daily driver! It gets 9-12.5 mpg, but you can't find a more elegant way to drive to work!
