With 224 passengers, it was a jam-packed plane.
Maybe it was incoming cell phone calls?

Who is doing the investigation? You think Russia will admit their plane was shot down by Islamists?

Pretty sure I didn't jump to a conclusion. However, it's interesting how some have to point out that there is no evidence of terrorism when there is no evidence at all. You don't see people jumping out there saying "there is no evidence of mechanical malfunction" do you?

From the article:

El-Sisi has spoken on the phone with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss the crash, the Kremlin said in a statement. Offering deep condolences, the Egyptian president promised to create conditions for the widest possible participation of Russian specialists in the investigation into the cause of the crash, the statement added.

Egypt's general prosecution has agreed to cooperate with representatives of the Russian government while investigating the incident.

"A team of experts from the Russian government and from the company which manufactured the plane will arrive in Cairo on Saturday evening to join the investigation team," Ismail said.

Zerohedge has posted the alleged Islamic State Sinai affiliate terrorist group video in which they claim to have downed the flight, plus a translation of the voiceover.

The video is embedded fairly well down halfway in the article.

Obligatory 'Warning': It does definitely appear to show an actual flight shot down, and is full of offensive rhetoric (quoted in translation)

I am posting the link to the video for informational purposes, to invite technical discussion.

2014 and 2015 seemed to be the most fatal years when it comes to airliners in recent history.

Did we even have over 200+ air crash deaths in the early 2010s

I don't believe them.

The plane in that video is not 30,000 feet in the air.

This is time when you listen to RUSSIAN news. No one else. I just listened to their Minister of Aviation interview. NO evidence whatsoever of any foul play. And yes, interviewer on Rossiya 1 channel specifically asked.
As others said - do NOT spread panic and unsubstantiated rumors.
