Gattis extended his 0 for the season by failing to reach base in four more plate appearances tonight. The good news is he only struck out once, lowering his k expectation to just 365 whiffs.

Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus, and Leonys Martin of the Rangers have combined for 61 plate appearances so far this season and have a collective one walk (Martin) among them.

Troy Tulowitzki is on a pace for 203 doubles.

Dioner Nararro is on a pace to hit 54 Sac-Flies, already hitting two in 12 ABs. Nathan Karnes has given up two, in 12 innings pitched, also on a pace for 54. In fact, arithmetically inflated above that, since they will probably face each other, when the same sac-fly will count toward both of their records..

That would be great. He would have 207 walks while only striking out 69 times. He would have an excellent OBA of .370, but an unprecedented slugging average of .056.

He is also on a pace to have zero RBI and zero extra base hits.

The Brewers have scored just 28 runs in their first 11 games. That is a pace for scoring 412 for the season. They have yielded 60 runs, a pace to give up 884 for the season.....or getting outscored by 472 runs.

The Blue Jays lead MLB in runs scored with 68, a pace to compile 918 runs.
