Last night was very frustrating. Dodgers have a good start from Buehler & aren't even facing one of the D Backs better pitchers and fail to win.
Runner left on base with no outs late in the game while tied.
Now they face Grienke who I'm sure is going to pitch with passion. If the Dodgers lose tonight & the Rockies win you might as well plan for a wild card game.
Very sad how the D Backs & Phillies tanked like they are against the Rockies.

even if they lose tonight there are still a few games left and at the worst they will be in 2nd place by only 1/2 game. I too am nervous, and we don't usually get the games. The first thing I do every morning at 5am is go to the computer to see what happened the night before. Well that isn't the first thing I do, but darn close.
They did it: they are in the playoffs, now it will be interesting to see what today holds. I am a little sad for St Louis. They came from a lousy start to almost get a spot, but if they had to be closed out it was wonderful the Dodgers are the ones who beat them out.
Kudos to the Nationals for playing tough and getting a win. Pretty crazy how 4 teams will play tomorrow for 2 division titles. Even though I wish the Dodgers had it locked up this type of stuff is really good for the game of baseball.
I like the Dodgers chances against the Braves if they can win tomorrow. And who knows the condition of rotations/bullpens going into an NLCS.
Too bad hubby has to go to P. Therapy at just about game start time today. I will be driving him and sitting in the car, hopefully the game will be on one of our local stations. I was so in hopes they would not have to play that game today, but I am so proud of them considering how the season started for them and the top player injuries.
I have a really good feeling about this Dodger team. With Ryu pitching like he is, Walker Buehler looking like the new version of Clayton Kershaw, and Kershaw as our starters, not to mention Rich Hill in our back pocket in case we need a fourth starter. I'll take that rotation over any team in the playoffs. Couple that with our ability to hit the long all.
I really like our chances this year!!!
