Somehow I'm just not feeling Boston making it to the Eastern Conference Finals this year. Their bench is going to be their downfall.

Post Season is different than Regular Season. Players play harder. Kobe, Pau, and crew will definitely be in true form then. Trust Me.

Sheed's agent squashed the rumor about his return. I might have second thoughts about the Celtics not coming out of the East. Jeff Green might just fit into their system better...who knows. I do think the fact that Perkins turned down that 4yr/30mil deal earlier in the season pretty much sealed his fate. Also, it takes about a whole year to fully recover from a severe knee injury, so we don't know how much better Perkins can play.

the actual offer perkins turned down was not 30 over 4 but closer to 22 over 4.

that was to low, and the 30m would have been signed i think.

Whatever the amount was, the Celtics most likely weren't gonna offer more $ than what they proposed and probably had a 'budget' on Perkin's worth. Since he turned it down, they probably had to trade him since he could walk this summer for nothing. Most likely a pure financial move. Also, i have a feeling they will go after Howard in 12'. I believe KG and Allen's contracts come off the books in 12'.

All teams will be after him then. My prayer is that he stays put in Orlando, my team

Did anyone see that Kendrick Perkins is out 2-3 weeks due to a sprained left knee?

I hope it doesnt become a lingering issue.

I like their bench.

I do not think any other team has a stronger bench they the Celtics.

You are forgetting they have two players who will be back for the playoffs in J. O'Neill and D. West.

Add in Shaq, Green, Krstic, Glenn Davis and they have a team that could beat the majority of NBA teams.
