I assume with GREAT in CAPS - he probably picked Duke, along with UMass, and New Mexico today.

Twitter: Without even seeing the game, I can guess they were shootin too many 3's, correct?

Twitter: Oh well....live and learn! But I will say this....this type of crap didn't happen from '89-'92!!

Looking forward to Syracuse-Dayton. I'm not a greedy Syracuse fan, but my feeling is that unless you're a lower tier team that launches a huge first round upset, only Sweet 16 teams actually make a mark in the tourney.

Dayton will provide a stiff test. If Trevor Cooney has a decent shooting game, the Orange will win.

I didn't fill out a bracket this time. I always find myself cheering for my picks as if they're my own team playing, and I hate that. I wanted to sit back, relax and enjoy the tournament for a change this year, completely nonpartisan. And for that, I have no regrets. There have been some great games so far and hopefully many more still to come.

Yes, a stiff test indeed. Now Jim Boeheim may reach for a stiff drink.

I am glad we do not have to hear about Harvard anymore. They were being stuffed down our throats.

Friday on the way to work the sports talk radio was all "if the shockers lose they will be the first 1-seed blah blah blah.....their opponent doesn't have a winning record....invalidate their whole season....".

Seriously, I am not a fan but the level of disrespect heaped towards them has been amazing. It's not like they lost in the first round last year etc.

I guess that's what you get for not being a "pedigree" team from the coast like Duke etc. lol.
