I would be shocked if any team took a chance on him next season...it's all just too fresh and would generate enormous bad publicity that no team would want to risk for someone who hasnt won a ring as a coach so he doesnt even have that to argue his case for him.

Perhaps so. All I have heard is he is suspended a year and NBA has seemed to accept that. I figured if a team hired him for next season that would be acceptable to the NBA. Maybe there would be lots of outrage, who knows. Not sure exactly what he did. I have heard this and that.
I know with Bridges on the Hornets, he technically can sign as a free agent with anyone now but the NBA intends to block it if a team tries to sign him. Clearly what Bridges did was much much worse. Quite possible he never plays in the NBA again.
