For the one who will have classes in the Design Building, you will do best parking in the south stadium lot, but make sure to get there early to ensure you get a parking space and make it to class on time. You could look into the Lake Beau Pre area. In that case, you could take the Levee Road all the way to Skip Bertman Drive, and that would bring you straight to south stadium. Wouldn't be bad at all.

Would it be practical to live in Spanish Town or Beauregard Town, assuming I am capable of finding housing? The only apartment complex I've looked at in this area is Lake Towers. How is the levee bike trail connecting downtown to campus? I like the idea of walking to the Saturday farmers market, and Spanish Town in particular most closely reminds me of Uptown New Orleans. Thanks everyone!

A duplex would be great. I think I'll give the Downtown Development District a call and see if they can provide any sort of guidance. I know their website has listings, but I don't think they're up to date. I may also post a "looking for housing" ad on craigslist and see what happens.
