Snow nut,
After our labors yesterday we stopped by the little Descutes river and it was cool and refreshing. Lots of folks swimming.

Well, it was worth suffering through the heat we think. He is the fruits of our effort. The gate to no where. Actually the driveway is being cut in this week. And it looks like another warm one too.

Nice gate! But darn you, I should have known there was more work being done at your place with the heat wave coming on, lol!

Don't worry, I'll be heading up to those snowmelt lakes that are not swimmable, according to some, to take a refreshing dip!

Can't tell you the exact temperature, but I swam in Elk lake for about a hour yesterday and it was extremely refreshing. Just about perfectly temperature-d.

No Delta, you can't blame me for this one. This gate was installed and set in Concrete July 1-3. Ok maybe the tree clearing, but not sure if it is happening or not.

We are pretty proud of the gates, besides the square tubing everything else is recycled materials. The sun rays" are recycled cable. They are non adjustable so the main posts had to be set precisely or the gap between the gates would not be even.

By the way, our reward for hard work was a float trip through town in our new Drift boat we bought at Fred Meyer

Then back to cut a cord of wood and haul it to Boise.
