Yeah My Garden exploded too while I was in Bend, but then the Hail completely took it out last saturday night. (again)
LOL, if they weren't already burning I would have thought the same thing!

Bummer about your garden. Hail storms and snow storms have taken mine out many years too.

We had a nice thunderstorm roll through town this afternoon bringing some cooler weather and rain! Granted, it probably wasn't much, but it sure felt good and smelled great! They are pretty rare here compared to other places in the country, so I sure enjoyed it. One of my dogs, on the other hand, not so much.

Nothing like a thunderstorm, especially one rolling through the mountains.

It's enough that I'm closing my windows during the day when it seems to be the worst. I could live with it but I'm sensitive to smoke and often get a migraine so I try to avoid it the best I can. But it's much better than Southern Oregon right now which is really bad. Our friends in Ashland visited us last weekend to escape the smoke there. It was about the same smokiness here last weekend & they barely noticed it.

Yesterday, I was out driving around & could see the mountains although they weren't clear. They were pretty hazy. Hoping is clears by the weekend as I have plans!

Edit: Just opened up the house for the evening & I don't smell any smoke at all. Of course, it might be because all I can smell is the chocolate chip zucchini bread I just pulled out of the oven!

Maybe! My zucchini has been a bumper crop, to say the least. I shredded up two of my larger ones for baking and I had about 12 cups of shredded zucchini. Looks like I'll be baking a ton of bread over the next few days!
