I'm not sure how "locked down" the city is. My office is downtown, and we're at full staff.

well go to work and jeperdise your life and you may not live to cash that check if this guy or his bombs kill you. Thus why people have emergency funds to fall upon in times of trouble.

State police superintendent just said there will be a controlled explosion in Cambridge this afternoon, there is a good reason the city is on lockdown.

Don't know many "real" people, do you? Yes, that is the ideal thing to have but in reality that's not the case, especially in these days. Quite a pompous statement.

so when people are going out of their homes are the police ordering them to go back inside? I'm just trying to understand if this is a lock-down or simply a request that is not enforced? I know that a LOT of people don't keep much food in the house nowadays...

they are going door to door and telling people to stay inside. .... they have been to 70 percent of the homes and the ones who have not opened their doors they have kicked them down to enter.
