Not really hearing much on this :

https://liveboston617.org/2022/09/26...er-in-roxbury/

The cop didn't even shoot back and went after the suspect on foot. I kind of wish he just shot the fool back but maybe he was worried about losing his job. Crazy world we live in today. People are more concerned about what pronouns to use and where to put migrants than to even consider situations like this happening

Also crazy how little discussion there has been over this. It's absolutely deplorable that this was allowed to happen, and something needs to be done IMMEDIATELY. It would be so nice to wake up and have the Boston Globe do an investigation on the dangers correctional officers face day in and day out, meanwhile there is not a SINGLE mention of Matthew Tidman anywhere on their site! DESPICABLE.

H block shoots at cops. That’s nothing to them. Remember Angelo West?

They’re cocky. They taunt cops and film them. They’re out late at night revving engines. The music they put out is pretty bone chilling. Throw the book at em, honestly. They’re about violence-they killed someone like 3 months ago.

“ The inmate accused of the attack is Roy Booth, who is serving a life sentence for murder in Virginia. NBC10 Boston has learned while in prison there, Booth earned a lengthy disciplinary record comprised of 60 offenses, including a violent assault on another inmate.

In January of last year, citing his poor adjustment, the Virginia Department of Corrections recommended he be transferred to an out-of-state prison. He was put into MCI Shirley, which is medium security.”

How in the world is this a thing? We’re allowing murderers with long disciplinary records to transfer into Massachusetts prisons. How many other out of state prisoners are we generously hosting in our medium security prisons?

States make reciprocal agreements with each other to accept certain problem inmates.

I think that's pretty logical. Prisoners have reputations. Gotta get em out of the state prison system.

But no way should he have gone to the medium security.
