That biosafety lab is in the South End on Albany Street.

Ah, that biosafety lab which so many South End residents opposed the construction of but to no avail. Well, I cannot think of any other reason to experiment with deadly viruses other than to hopefully develop very strong and durable vaccines. My gripe is that the lab is in a major city as ours and not some isolated rural location far from civilization. Heavens forbid any terrorist attacks the lab or else everyone in Metro Boston would be doomed. The article below says that the scientists do not believe the hybrid virus they created would be as deadly in humans as mice because of different immune responses but still this is not a virus to be trifled with. The article also mentions that similar Level 4 labs can be found in Texas, Georgia, and Kansas.
