Depending on what i use its usually every other year but as time marches on it gets worse. My 1/2 hp motor runs at half speed when on low during the day. I have no idea why but its been like that for a few yrs. Right now its 83 outside & 80 inside so its ok. I run my fans all the time when im at home. By doing that my electric bill jumped five or so dollars (recent elec bill was $13.00 incl the 20% discount). If i had my old mechanical meter my bill would of been about 1/3 that.

Today was cloudy most of the day in Oakland. Just as it should start to cool off for July and August. That's if it's a typical year.

Low 90's during the day and upper 50's at night for the next 7-10 days here in my neck of the woods. Perfect summer weather. That ridge of High pressure that usually builds over our area this time of year seems to be stuck further East to the dismay of the rest of Country.

That sounds nice & comfortable. I remember one summer yrs ago when i was on vacation it was over 100 degrees here & when i got to the sf area it was 60 & raining. I loved it. I hate the long hot & dry summers here but at least the nights are cool (for the most part).

Well, didn't last long. Today it's a little toasty out in this part of Oakland.
