Gotta dodge the alligators and face eating zombies that inhabit the place somehow...

Where I could once see the Altamont hills from my backyard, the view is obstructed by a multitude of rooftops from countless subdivisions. Progress, yes. People have to go somewhere but why should I be happy to see a high speed rail system chew up the central valley, just to make it convenient for business people traveling from San Francisco to LA? Let 'em build it right along the PCH. Give the passengers a great view.

It's as antredd commented, why don't they use that money to reduce the state's debt? Oh, that's right. It would make too much sense.

at least we in florida don't have to pay for HSR like this, rick scott did the right thing to reject it, because we cannot afford it, Florida at least we not nearly as broke as California was.
Yes the neocons are in florida, but the loony bin leftist in califorina are no better.

Sorry, don't know Mr. Kurtz. If it's another insult, I'll just consider the source.

Thank god I'm a floridian and been there since 1985.
I'm wondering about you, trolling now are we?

You "been there since 1985", you mean here right?

Like I said I'm in Miami, it's okay, lived here for a while surely not as long as you claim. Saying California is finished is laughable at best, like Florida is free and clear of all impending doom.

Maybe?

I was guessing it's someone else who will rename nameless. A certain someone is pissed that I'm leaving Miami for greener pastures in California.

No. Not quite a stylistic fit ... however that person you refer to showed up with a new screen name on another thread a couple days ago ... for three posts ... hasn't reappeared as I suspect the moderators shut him down. Apparently you missed his rants? Hilarious.
