I truly had NO IDEA as to how many Hispanics that were with in the area. From my understanding it was a heavily populated black area (Interesting, where did they all go ?) back in the mid 90s. Now I am not trying to bash but I knew something was up when I saw this women leaving a store and she had a baby on one hip, another walking, and two in a stroller and if it were not for her random baggy clothing I could have sworn she was pregnant once more. The icing on the stroller was the fact it was topped off with a hot pink rime stoned iP5. Which had me wondering. Just how in the heck does one afford all of that. I am going to be honest that I didn't even 'upgrade' my phone because it simply did not fit into my budget (not even close) in fact I just simply joined a family plan with my step-dad and mom....And I have no kids. Even the Subway was packed with all Hispanic people customers and employes 100%.

Maybe they are truly big on family because it was (what it appeared to be) boy friend, grandmother, mother, baby and im sure a sister and a brother was in their some where. Now I know what your thinking 'hes a racist ass' far from. I was primarily fascinated as to how far of a demographic could change so dramatically in such a short span of time without it really being noticeable by the general public.Or maybe it was and I just kept my head under the sand.

It was really good to see so many families enjoying a nice day off together for a change. Everyone these days are so caught up in their own worlds we no longer enjoy each other anymore. Certainly true the times are bring about a change.
I'm surprised you haven't noticed this before. Many blacks have moved to the south and a lot of Mexican gangs are violently trying to run blacks out of the (formerly black) neighborhoods.

The changing demographics of California, is the reason that there will never again be a Republican winning the Electoral College Vote from California. Don't look for another Republican Governor.

Wow.....

Maybe the old white man version of republican... Helloooo... When the minority becomes the majority, one can see plenty of non-old white men, have values that a future more intelligent republican party will connect with....

Until then the world needs to put up with the moaning, growning and negativity of the "old white man" mind set..

Did your mamma not teach you to never say never OT?

And a whole lot more coming. Part of Obama's big amnesty is going to be for them to have "reunification" with all their long lost relatives they left behind.

Just a couple things:

On looking at groups of people: Many years ago, when I was a lad of about 8, I was walking through an airport with my sister (age about 35) and my uncle (age about 45). One of us remarked that nobody would ever figure out what the relationship of the three of us was.

There are a lot of Latinos in California, yes. Does this come as a surprise to anyone, in a state where the first European settlers were Spanish not English? Like it or don't, there's no rule that Anglos have to be the majority or dominant population. California has had a strikingly multicultural population for well over a century and a half--"the world rushed in" during the Gold Rush. The state is evolving and it's going to continue to evolve, as is the Latino population (which is not really one thing anyway). I could point to trends in the Latino community which I see as positive, and ones I see as negative, but there doesn't really seem to be much point, and it's not up to me anyway.

I think most people, or I hope most people, are not concerned based on race. Rather they are concerned with the changes that an illegal population brings. Hispanic, European, Asian or whatever, illegal is illegal.

Once a law of that nature is broken it leads to others merely to survive. Worse yet gangs proliferate then as the illegals cannot go to the authorities and report the problems or they get deported or jailed (in their minds at least) and this means they are left helpless in the face of such gangs. This of course means the rest of the legal population is now also confronted with the gang activity and must endure and pay for the results. This is not simply driving without a license or over the speed limit, which many legal residents do. Now it impacts society in a far greater way.

Ghettos' with no rule of law, gangs with no fear of the Law, neighborhoods with minimal hope their children legal and illegal will ever get out and escape the problems they now face. It isn't like the Irish or Italian problems of centuries past where within a few generations they assimilated. Nope the State and Country are acquiring large populations that do not assimilate and in effect bring/create the very problems they were fleeing and that "good" people were trying to help them escape from.

It isn't "Hispanics" it is illegals and the negative societal impact they have, regardless of the work they do or even what taxes they may pay. If the Agricultural worker, Landscaper, Construction worker, Restaurant worker, etc is faced with a gang demanding his money, he has nowhere to turn and that simply empowers the gangs. If the employer robs him, he has nowhere to turn. To survive he may become part of a group that fills a house with too many people, leading to increased health problems and costs associated with non essential emergency room treatment, and many more problems are created that harms society both legal and illegal.

CA is simply doing as it always does, setting the example. In this case a bad one.

Well and profoundly put. But I do have a minor quibble.

Irish Mob - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"No Irish Need Apply."

Al Capone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"No Italians need apply"

Hatfield

"No Okies, Arkies, hillbillies need apply"

Fresno Bulldogs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"No hispanics need apply?"

Seems the behavior travels west as WASPy won't hire those he finds objectionable?

... this, and we haven't even BEGUN to talk about the behaviors of legal citizens who rape, plunder and pillage our economy and natural resources with total disregard for the welfare of our fellow legal citizens ... why the horror! ... legal citizens should be deported not tolerated!
